We knit with care for our environment

We have never moved from Röshult. Perhaps that is part of the explanation for our concern for our environment. We remain firmly rooted in the soil, and the factory is now located right on the edge of the forest, just a few kilometers from the old sheep shed where it all started. Since 2017, the factory has been powered by 100% fossil-free wind power. We are constantly looking for new and even more environmentally friendly alternatives to continue knitting high-tech socks and beanies as resource-efficiently as possible. A part of that is making products that last year after year.

We are driven by the idea of ​​simplicity, sustainability, function and appeal. As a company, we want to contribute as much as possible to a reduced impact on our planet. One of the most effective ways to achieve this is to ensure that the products are used for a long time. That they do not break, or become outdated, but are used year after year and are loved by their users.

We put a lot of thought into the choice of yarn. Our recycled polyamide, Reco Nylon, is one of the most environmentally friendly alternatives to classic yarn, and consists of 100% recycled material. Reco Nylon reduces the use of resources such as water, chemicals and energy consumption in production by an average of 89%. Carbon dioxide emissions are reduced by 88% and waste by 96% compared to conventional production.
